Bible Study Point exists to answer one kind of question well: "what does this passage actually mean?" Here's how the site is put together, and by whom.
Why this site exists
Most people who search for a Bible verse online land on a page built to hold an ad, not to answer the question. Bible Study Point is an attempt at the opposite: short, honest explanations of what a verse or passage means, in its original context, without padding a two-sentence answer into a thousand-word article.

How content is written
Every topical study and book guide on this site is written specifically for that page: the relevant passage is read in context first, then explained in plain language. Scripture quotations are drawn primarily from the World English Bible, a modern public-domain translation, with the reference and translation always credited under the verse.
We are not a denominational site and don't try to settle disputed theological questions readers hold differing views on. Where a passage is genuinely debated, we try to say so rather than presenting one reading as the only one.
Corrections
If you spot a wrong reference, a typo, or a passage you think is explained unclearly, please use the Contact page — corrections are usually made within a few days.
